Working in New York City, one of my biggest challenges, is how to motivate and energize my client’s when they often come to their training sessions exhausted, sleep deprived and burned-out from living their very busy (over-scheduled), stressful lives.
My suggestions are often obvious and repetitious:
- Exercise (doctor’s orders)
- Get More Sleep
- Eat Nutritious and Delicious Meals that Fuel Your Body and Feed Your Brain
- Relax (meditate)
- And Enjoy (dance in the moment)
And so, at the risk of being redundant, I encourage my readers and my very tired client’s to read Dr. Patricia Fitzgerald’s interview with Dr. Frank Lipman, author of Revive:Stop Felling Spent and Start Living Again.
Many of his suggestions will sound familiar, but from my experience, any suggestion worth suggesting – is worth repeating, over and over and over again….
